Sincewe have supported 95, young people to start or grow a business by delivering a range of entrepreneurship support services, from training and mentoring to access to finance and other business development services.

The program gives students a theoretical view of business through our established curriculum. Using this insight, we work with members across the world to develop new solutions. The Summer Business Camp culminates for all students with the Wall Street Conference for Teens, a week-long trip to visit one of the most fascinating financial districts in America. In our first year "Basic Camp," students attend a one-week overnight camp on a university campus.

We deliver training and other capacity development support, facilitate member learning exchanges and connect members to partners with relevant expertise. YAB gives high school students from all backgrounds exposure to the world of business through a stimulating and interactive program.

We work primarily with high school students, and we serve a very diverse population of young people. Our program exposes students to business in a fun, competitive environment and adds relevance to their education by helping them understand why academic preparation is important.

Senior-level executives serve as judges and speakers. They help the youth understand complex business transactions and provide guidance on the proper techniques to use in negotiating a merger or acquisition.

In our first year "Basic Camp," students attend a one-week overnight camp on a university campus. During the week, the student teams assume the leadership of their assigned corporation by acting as the executive management committee and begin their due diligence by researching their company's Annual Report.

High school students from 9th through 12th grades gain a contextual understanding of business by participating in actual merger and acquisition transaction simulations. Our experiential learning model prepares youth to be successful in a business environment and provides them with role models and resources to be successful.

Understanding the Business World

We operate various components of our program nationally. Through a unique work-study curriculum, students ages 14 through 21 and classified as Cognitively Impaired, Multiply Disabled, Behaviorally Disabled or Learning Disabled learn to effectively handle life's challenges so they can lead full, meaningful, independent and productive lives.

The summer culminates with the Wall Street Conference for Teens in one of the most exciting financial districts in America. Furthermore, of those that are working, many do not earn enough to lift themselves out of poverty.
